Executive TV Producer & Community Advocate

I’ve recently swapped the beaches of CA for the vibrant city of Austin, TX. I’m a seasoned producer and a passionate community advocate who has called many places home. Having lived in San Francisco, Santa Monica, Japan, Colombia, and the USVI, I bring a global perspective and a deep appreciation for diverse cultures to both personal and professional endeavors. In addition, I’ve traveled extensively throughout South America, Mexico and South East Asia.
With more than 16 years of experience in TV production, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects that explore culture, people, food, wine, and travel. Throughout my career, I have crafted compelling stories that connect people with the world around them. Most recently, I served as the Executive Director of a non-profit in Gilroy, CA, continuing a long-standing commitment to making a positive impact.
My experience extends back to my time working in LA with networks like MTV, VH1, E! Entertainment, and the Style Network, where I produced a variety of shows, segments, and pilots. I’ve also worked with NBC and PBS in the Bay Area, earning an Emmy for my work on the wine and culture show, In Wine Country. These experiences gave me valuable exposure to working across multiple formats, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and handling all aspects of production—from managing budgets to fostering relationships with clients and vendors.
In addition, I founded a boutique production company in Santa Cruz, CA, where I produced and fully created a wine and travel show—my host was one of the youngest Master Sommeliers at the time. We shot in several countries, including Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil, giving me a unique perspective on international production and cross-cultural collaboration.
I’ve taken projects from initial concept through final execution, often with limited resources, while keeping the focus on delivering high-quality results. I have the ability to work under tight deadlines and coordinate large and small-scale projects.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a passionate advocate for community outreach and humanitarian work. I have been involved in numerous volunteer efforts around the globe. From serving on the board of Shared Adventures, a Santa Cruz-based non-profit that provides activities for people with special needs, to working with FEM Colombia, (www.femcolombia.com). I’ve done video and PR work for both organizations. I strive to create opportunities and enrich lives. As a proud and dedicated Rotarian, I’m committed to service above self—collaborating with leaders worldwide to create lasting change in our communities and beyond.
Outside of work, I stay active and enjoy a variety of activities. Whether it’s practicing yoga and Pilates, power walking or hiking with Bader, my Golden Retriever, or embracing water sports like SUP, sailing, and swimming, I’m always moving. I also love traveling, exploring new cultures, savoring culinary delights, and discovering the local flavor wherever my adventures take me.
